Capital Caring Health – Veteran Services
Capital Caring Health has proudly served members of the military since its founding in 1977, providing a full suite of care and services, plus recognition ceremonies and programs to match veteran patients with veteran volunteers in southern Maryland, northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. In addition to offering hospice and palliative care services, Capital Caring Health offers in-home caregiver support assessments, as well as veterans’ benefit assessments, such as disability compensation, pensions, and healthcare.
Purchase a Robotic Companion Pet and Support the Purple Heart Foundation
Capital Caring Health sells Robotic Companion Pets and often encourages their use in care plans for veterans and patients with Dementia. Researchers have found that robotic pets decrease anxiety and stress and reduce the need for many medications for patients living with dementia.
Capital Caring Health sells robotic companion pets, and for every one sold, they donate to the Purple Heart Foundation. You can buy one for yourself and a family member or friend, or you can purchase one to donate to a veteran living with dementia.

Capital Caring Health has relationships with over 100 hospice care providers throughout the United States.
