Washington Tattoo Rudiments to Recovery
The Washington Tattoo™ is a 501(c)3 organization based in Virginia that offers unique, world-class music and cultural programs in the Washington, D.C., area. With programming for all ages, the organization’s goal is to provide diverse, exceptional musical events, education, and professional networking opportunities to a variety of audiences while creating awareness of and providing support for the needs of veterans and first responders.
Rudiments to Recovery
Rudiments to Recovery is a road to building positive connections through basic drumming. Everyone’s heartbeat has a unique rhythm. By connecting your internal rhythm with your external world, you can begin to bring forth peace and understanding, which can be used to help one another. Lessons are centered around mindfulness and rhythm.
The Washington Tattoo is pleased to announce another new program to serve veterans and underserved communities families, Rudiments to Opportunity.
Rudiments to Opportunity is a music education program for underserved school populations in the Washington D.C. region. This program provides students with the opportunity to learn about music and develop their musical skills from world-class musicians.
