The Department of Defense SkillBridge Program allows active-duty service members within 180 days of separation to intern full-time with civilian businesses at no cost to the employer — the military continues to pay

VA On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program
After separation from service, veterans can use their GI Bill benefits to receive hands-on training in funeral services while earning a paycheck.
