The Purple Heart Foundation is excited to announce the very first Purple Heart 5K. This will be a fundraising event for all ages to join and run for the purpose of having fun and sharing great moments with family, all while benefiting our nation’s veterans. This event aims to raise money to help fund the programs we offer to veterans in need, such as critical assistance grants, PTSD resources, service dogs, and academic scholarships.

We are extremely excited to  announce our inaugural Purple Heart 5k! The race will take place on August 7th as a celebration of Purple Heart Day. Purple Heart day is a day where we honor the men and women who bravely fought for our
country and were wounded in combat.

* Registration costs $40 per person.

*Registrants will be given a commemorative Purple Heart 5k t-shirt and a bib.

* Parking will be located in the Mount Vernon Trail head parking lot and will be accessible on a first come first serve basis.
