Battle Buddies was created to help veterans experience the companionship, routine, and connection that can come from welcoming a pet into their lives. For many veterans, the bond with an animal can provide comfort, purpose, and a steady presence during life after service.

This application helps us learn more about you, your home environment, your experience with pets, and the type of companion animal that may be the best fit for your lifestyle. Our goal is to make thoughtful, responsible matches that support both the veteran and the animal.

Please answer each question as honestly and completely as possible. Completing this application does not guarantee approval or placement, but it is an important first step in helping us determine eligibility and identify the right opportunity for you. Once your application has been processed, you will receive an email with the next steps, and you may have to complete an additional application with the rescue you will be working with.
